This looks like the La Jolla Children's Cove. The birds and seals are even reactive to the storm. Thank you for filming and sharing. My late husband had a business nearby and we visited often with our children when they were little.

It used to be fun to go stand on the wall and hold the Rails and waves crashed over us. Never with surf quite this big , but we used to get some gnarly ones!

Years ago a couple Crossed the barricades on that retaining wall during very high surf and were swept away and they never found them. Some of the railings were bent and torn off

I grew up in La Jolla and many tourists have been swept away despite warnings !!

@@shelleycharlesworth5177 here's a strange twist to the story I was hiking on that beach area north of the caves and I found a bone thought was marine mammal found out couple years later that it was a human arm bone 😫 first thing I thought about was those people that got swept away and they never found.

?? Black Comerants ,,, is that the birds they show in a big flock,,?? Fascinating,,,, They are smart enough to stay off shore. I've seen those in Maine,,,, very cool birds.
@johngreen642110 ай бұрын
the sea creatures like the sealoins and cormorant sea bird, are having trouble getting in and out of the water turbulances and looking for food. They are going to have to wait til it simmers down in the ocean for them to productively look for food.

@@Clj737what does this have to do with the effects of global warming and the fact that hurricanes, high tides, winter storms, and summers are getting worse? Many insurance companies no longer fully underwrite Florida properties. Storms don’t care who you voted for. It’s weird how people treat this like sports rivalries. SMDH.
