@kristianl71175 жыл бұрын
The longer you play the piano the more rewarding, but also the more daunting it gets. I remember seeing pieces similar to this in difficulty when i started playing and thinking "if only i could ever play music like that". And while i'm not as good a pianist as Jacob, i can play pieces like this now. The wonderful but also annoying thing about piano though is that there is ALWAYS something unachievably difficult waiting for you. When you reach what you thought of as the top you realise there is so, so, so much more to learn. That being said i hope you derive as much joy and pleasure from finding out just how much there is to learn as i did:) Good luck on your practicing!

I have a good friend, sadly not very interested in instrumental music, but he always says: "Piano...yeah piano is nice and all, but you just press a key...its not like a violin, there you gotta shape a tone." This here, there a lot of people who could play this after a couple of months with the sheet music. But the way Jacobs hands move and lay on the keys, this takes decades.... He just uses the weight of his fingers...its very soothing to watch.
