Yeah I started late but I learned fast and all it takes is practice and dedication. It took me only a few months for me to start doing Mozart and this kind of songs but I practiced day and night so it helped me learn fast

@@yonathandrew8313 I'm playing it right now as part of the la la land suit and I've never done jazz before and I was gonna cry because I just couldn't get it to sound right after like 20 mins straight practising just a few bars then I realised my dumb ass was playing it in the wrong key because I thought it was a majot not e major I don't even know how I could make the mistake lol but not I fixed that the walking bass wasn't hard atal and this is coming from someone who's first time experimenting with jazz so just give it a go

When people watch piano they don't realize how many rules you have to follow to get that flowy jazz rythem going. It's not just reading notes, but reading the tiny signatures and swaying with the beat of the music to make it as authentic as possible

No i dont think so. They play around with rhythm a lot in jazz. It sounds "wrong" but it's just syncopated i think
