Hi Simon & Sue. It was late last year but we did not get round to doing the video.We have several other in the pipeline from Spain where we hiked a few days on the Senda Literal and 3 or 4 amazing day walks in Andalucia plus 3 days along Algarve on an extention to the fishermans trail. Hard to better the PW. Where are you going next ?

Hi D&B, You're certainly doing plenty of walking over in Spain. We'll have to check out those routes. We are keen to do a walk in Portugal or Spain & the Fisherman's Trail seems to be our most likely option. Closer to home our next walk is the Yorkshire 3 Peaks this coming Friday. We did it a few years back in just over 10 hours & feel we can get around the route in under 10 hours. Clearly too much time on our hands! 😂. In early June we are following your footsteps again & will be walking the Cotswold Way. We"re doing that over 6 days & taking our 12 year old spaniel with us on her 3rd national trail. Have you two got any summer walks planned? ATB Simon & Sue

Hi S&S like you we have a few things on. I would 100 percent recommend the Fisherman's Trail. Love the Yorkshire three peaks and we might try and do in a few weeks if the weather holds. The Friday walking club we are in, have arranged for the group to hike the St Cuthbert's Way in a few weeks, I am looking forward to this and Barbara and I might continue down the coast when we arrive at Lindisfarne at the end of the hike. Will let you know how its goes. Other than that nothing planned, but we fancy the German Alps. We have been before but might just decide to take the car over there for a couple of weeks. I take it you two are retired ? Let us know how the Cotswolds way goes - t6ake it easy guys - Cheers Dave & Barbara

Hi D&B. Great to hear that you are so positive about the Fisherman's Trail. Its definitely high on our to do list along with a camino. The Y3Ps went really well & we managed to knock 2 hours off our previous time. 👍. On to the Cotswold Way next, but sadly no bag carriers on this occasion. Any tips you can offer for the Cotswold Way? Your walking group trip sounds good. We haven't walked on the St Cuthbert's route, but we've done a few bits on the St Oswald Way, which also ends at Lindisfarne Semi retired would best describe us & Sue also supports her elderly parents. We do still get a fair few opportunities for walking though. Fingers crossed that your German Alps trip comes off. Finally, are there anymore videos upcoming? ATB Simon & Sue

Evening D&B. Apologies for the late update on our Cotswold Way walk. It's been a very busy few weeks since then. Sadly we had to call time on the walk at the end of Day 4. We'd covered 75 miles & reached Wotton under Edge, however the weather that week was very hot. Temperatures were nudging 30c & it was just too hot for our dog to continue & too hot for us too. We've booked accommodation for early September & we'll return then to do the final 30ish miles. How did you guys get on with St Cuthberts Way? Have you done any further planning to walk in Germany?
