Nice video. Likely to be getting the new mini soon. Not sure I can swallow the £400 they want for the LM branded acaia scales now with the stop by weight feature but you never know

Thanks for sharing this. I love the drip tray. However, I assume that after making an espresso, will it be harder to clean the group head and tray? Normally after brewing, I will put the portafilter into grouphead again to wash them both and the hot water will flow to the tray direcly. I am imaging if I using this new tray, the same method may make the hot water flow to my Acaia direclty....then i need to take out Acaia before cleaning the portafilter and grouphead, or, not sure the Acaia is really water-proof to the hot water...

Cheers matey. I know what you’re saying, I don’t always do that, mainly as I’m next to a sink and rinse there most of the time, but occasionally, I do what you have mentioned, I have left the scales there and wiped them down afterwards but I have also popped them out and done it. To be fair, popping them out is better in my opinion as I let is less mess to wipe up if they were left there anyway.
