La Mer | is there a dupe?

I'm 54 and had wanted to get the la mer for almost 30 years! All the bad reviews put me off but I ended up getting it last Year. It is the best moisturizer I have ever used.... and I have tried a lot! I keep trying other things but always have a small jar of la mer! I'm so glad you haven't considered Nívea a dupe! 😂 I believe skinceuticals has a moisturizer with seaweed🤔... haven't tried that one yet!

It is a lovely moisturizer, I just find I can get equally as good ones at a fraction of the price.

Many moisturisers are meant to work in combo with a serum, so if someone is up to a three months test with a seaweed serum under Nivea it could be interesting. It will be a bit of a project to find a match for La Mere, but I am pretty sure it is doable, and at a fraction of the cost. I guess it is the soothing and healing effects of La Mere most people want? The original La Mere was different, the kelp part was added as micro beads in the cream, dissolving when you applied. I think it had less dimethicone and silicones, if any at all. The current La Mere have some key ingrediens like lime tea, almond oil, sesame oil, vitamin B3, and zink that adds to the nourishing effects of the cream. The number of botanical extracts is quite high in La Mere.

I believe in La mer by start using the Lotion;(the one come with the green bottle and it་s the cheapest if I’m not wrong) Previously I had allergic skin by get rash,itchy over my face especially I am living in city where PM2.5 all over here. After use LM the lotion for a while my allergy never happened to my face again (2years already) that why I realize LM is the good product and I continue using another product line. My recommend for who’d to try, go to The Lotion instead of LM cream. The LOTION is like the basic medicine u should hv. It strength ur skin but do nothing with wrinkles. When ur skin strengthened u hv less skin problem. Use The LOTION, and any other cream u can go to another brand. ❤❤ Let’s be pretty 😊

As a la mer user, I am so glad that you did not include Nivea which is NOT a dupe for la mer! La mer does decrease inflammation and brighten my skin although having said that, I CANNOT use la mer under my eyes as the depuffing effect increases my under eye hallows! And I believe can over time decrease fat pads so there is pros and cons and depending on the condition of each individual. Thankyou for the best compared “dupes” video I have seen on utube!

Instead of applying seaweed extract to the face, you could ingest algae Spirulina tablets are great too. 😊

The only special thing about LM is the price! Same for ‘La Prairie,’ they are selling their caviar concoction at even higher prices. Since caviar turns bad in more than 24hrs., can you even imagine what a truckload of preservatives and chemicals it takes to make this crème viable for six months. The beneficial ingredients died through processing. Doesn’t everyone know that?!

The thing with creams and serums is that can't be absorbed deep on the skin. The results are just on the skin the outside layer

Every single dermatologist I have ever been to has told me that La Mer is ridiculously priced and a complete waste of money. They all say not to believe the marketing hype. There are PLENTY of drugstore moisturizers that are effective and priced $20.00 or less. There is no need to break the bank when buying cosmetics or skin care products.

Yes I think the same but my skin just loves it, I had a bad burn on my hand and put some on and it’s healing where it hadn’t before. I agree it feels like overpriced Nivea but when I stop using it, I see a difference. I just bought some tiny pots on eBay as it’s just too expensive.

These dermatologists are wrong, because the way La Mer is produced, with lights and sound waves, hand harvested algae and seaweed, is labor intensive and no one can say that the miracle broth is not healing. The dermatologists who produce their own lines, always bad mouth La Mer. The cream IS overly expensive, but when Estée Lauder bought La Mer from Hubert’s daughter, their top chemists were unable to duplicate the miracle broth after months of trying. After they went to Hubert’s original labs and with the help of the daughter they were finally able to duplicate the recipe. The cream is produced in small batches, but again the price is insane. On the other hand , one jar lasts almost a year and is effective.

In the clip mentioned that the music played during the LM production process. My personal belief is in the good environment it affect water molecules. ((Good\ bad ,water molecules are different shape in different environments) seaweed in the good molecules water much be better. That why the music are played 😊

This video could have been much more informed and relevant if you'd done research on sound/music's effect on plants; it's significant. The vibration of sound has also been lab tested by the late Masaru Emoto and is fascinating.

Dr Usama Syed the video is called Brutally honest La mer cream. Its 176 online euros if i was to buy it here in Ireland for 30 ml 322 for 60 ml more than my weeks disability allowance lol

Le mer cream is hyped and very over priced. There is an Indian dermolotist living in york has a channel here and he did a great review and went over ingredients and the whole process of making the cream. I can't remember his name but i will find out and and out his name on here and or video title. Hello from Ireland and i would not have the funds to buy Le Mefr and i would not want too thats a rip off lol.

Sound waves have been proven to have an effect on water, as a Japanese professor demonstrated. The water crystal reacted differently to different sounds and music, so maybe Huber, who was a physicist, was ahead of his time.

La Mer cream might be an ok product but it is not necessarily an amazing or miraculous product. Mostly gimmick product and sadly over priced. A straight out rip-off. There better creams out for decent price.
