That's awesome man, I have always wondered how veterans would react to seeing the ships they served on rendered in a game, whether they would be impressed or moved by this gesture. What a treat it would be to watch them play the game on their former ships. The wealth of knowledge that they must have about serving aboard them.. the stories, the high jinks. I wish wargaming would put together a video featuring this sort of content, I would say a CC but they're practically extinct..

Ohio is not stronger for me. Rngesus hates me. Once I literally got a game with 40 shell hits in ranked and 25 overpens an 15 bounces. My secondaries did all the damage.

I have Ohio, Slava, Sevastapol, Colbert and don't enjoy them, I much prefer the techtree lines. +-60k RP is alot of work. I miss the old method of free XP ship, so sad they removed this and kinda succs you have to spend RP to get the legendary, so expensive for what it is. I'm still angry about this move.

@@belsteed6050 Most of the techtree & steel ships are OP compared to coal and RP ships imo, especially as you don't get cracked bs like thunderer and smolensk. Grinding for RP is even more suffering than playing ranked battles for me, as I have to purchase every single one of the ships and play them for at least once, then sell them, so my current approach is play Missouri with maxium xp boosts and use free xp to skip the whole line lol.

Something else to note about Colbert is that it boasts superior ballistics to Marceau, about the same level as the Z-52. So while it can arc over islands its also capable of landing shots more consistently than the Marceau.

This was my first ship from RB. I thought no cookie cutter but pure fun factor. It is that! I am jinxed though, dozens of battles in the 190's but have yet to break 200k. Most fun is when you tighten the carry pants to lethal intensity and win. Best ever was getting solo warrior on the Greece map. DD's did not want to cap so I did and what a match it was.

The Colbert was my first Research Bureau ship. I got it mainly because it's pretty unique and a real ship that stayed in service well into the modern era. Overall I'd say it's pretty fun, even when you have bad games, but in the current meta 16km range mod is a must otherwise it's pretty unplayable, since staying far back is the norm now.

Both are good if they fit your playstyle. But for me I'd take Colbert anyday. Slava doesn't work anymore for me, I'm way past doing "good" by being passive. Same issue with Stalingrad, good ship but otherwise boring.

Not that simple I'm afraid. Played this game for years and since then I have a hard time playing or committing to other games. I'm past the point of getting excited over games in general, and WoWS has been the only title I'm familiar with. My format is transferrable but it also never in conflict with any of the game problems, I don't have to be biased against it (think CV and subs), and the furthest it gets is joking about WG themselves being them, which is something people like to see anyways. That being said, its just a game, and I'm just a guy that can edit video. So if there are better offerings, I would already be there ))

I come from the Legends side of WoWs and our Colbert has 32 mm armor plating; which as you can imagine is an absolute wet dream for any light cruiser user, and cancer to any battleship trying to even kill it. Thankfully I’m not the one being scorched alive.
