Before you choose "lie," view your notebook to see if you have the evidence to back up your suspicion so you have a higher chance of choosing the right answer. No Brad, if you go out from the crime scene the music stops, but that doesn't mean that you have all the clues. In fact, if you return to the crime scene (the house in this case), you'll hear the music again.

I thought of the same thing when I played it. But you will see when it gets close to the end, Cole was one of those people who wanted to be the Superman in solving the cases. In most times, it worked, but it eventually backfired.

The second question's right answer was the neighbor's statement about how he gave her a black eye. By the way, the "View notebook" button is there for you to check if you really do have information to use against him. If you are unsure whether to choose Doubt or Lie, it's there to help you make the choice. It's basically brain-dead if you compare every evidence you have and see if any match.
