Good afternoon Philip & crew, what a great post.. especially seeing la penitance market. Good memories, I remember walking there every Sunday morning to go to the market when I was a young kid. Yeah man, good cuffum angling, they give good fight mare, like marlin they jump, boy I grow up selling at lapenetance market, back in 50,60 70, I remember lightograpich high bridge, used to sell cut up chicken there, my mom was the egg lady at the main gate lots of memories

How Guyana has change especially a place like La-Penitence in the fifties and sixties it was a terrible place to live especially with crime.We used to transport sugar by punts to Bookers Warf by La-Penitence punt trench.Glad to see how people are living together and the standard of living is so great with the improvement that is made.
