La Peugeot 404

A près de 90 ans, Enzo Ferrari décide de laisser un testament durable avant sa mort : une "supercar" ultime, capable d'asseoir la suprématie de Ferrari chez les constructeurs d'exception. La F40 concrétise ce rêve en 1987, avec une conception proche de celle d'une monoplace de course. Cette obsession de l'allègement et de l'aérodynamique, conjuguée à un V8 de 471 chevaux, fait de la F40 la voiture homologuée la plus rapide du monde à sa sortie. Ses gènes se retrouveront dans les futures supersportives de la marque, la F50 puis l'Enzo.

When I was a child here in Texas, it was not unusual to see the 403 and the 404. I always thought the 404 was truly beautiful and still do.
