Hi Liz! I loved this wear test and review! When I first started at Nordstrom, and I was training with different brands, I was OBSESSED with this La Prairie foundation, Sisley Double Tenseur Primer, and the Sisley Phyto-Cernes Eclat Concealer for my everyday look when I didn’t want to wear a powder foundation. After going through two bottles of the foundation, I decided not to repurchase the foundation because I was not too fond of the concealer, and I didn’t use it, so I felt like I wasn’t getting the total value of my purchase. I wish they came out with just the foundation as a stand-alone, and I would purchase it repeatedly! Fabulous video Liz! I hope you have a wonderful week!

Great review Liz! Now I’m interested! It made your skin look natural, but better. I can’t believe it lasted over 9 hours on a full day and it still looked great. I’ll wait for that sale bc it is so spendy!!!

I discovered the foundation and concealer recently and I love it! I know it's pricey but I think it's worth every penny. I only need a little bit and it gives me a beautiful radiance. And the Concealer is thick but it doesn't Crease. I've also worn it for a long time and it's awesome. I got it on sale too! It's smart to buy it on sale and save some bucks. Thanks for your honest opinions ❤. I got the powder this week but haven't tested yet. Want to do a first impression video.

Thanks for this video. I’ve been looking at it for a while but being oily I was afraid I’ll look too oily in a few hours. But it looked great on you and liked that it didn’t seem to get shiny even after 10 hours.

Thank you. I am glad I was able to help. Even during the summer months I am able to wear this foundation. I always use powder my face so that does help with the oils too. I also think the primer does help. The sisley primer is the best.

@@chicagolawluxurymakeup I have the LP loose powder so maybe it will set well with that. I use the Sisley tropical resins serum as a primer for oiliness but i still have some oil within a few hours. I noticed you did a light application where other KZbinrs used a lot more. Maybe that’s your success in it not looking oily. 😉

I just ordered it online. I haven’t been matched yet so I had a hard time picking a shade. Specially because there is no swatches and many shades are unavailable. I order 2 different shades. 15 and 20. Hopefully one will match me. Meanwhile I will go to get match at Nordstrom that way I can be ready when it arrives just in case I have to exchange.

I had hard time picking a shade too. The shade I choose though worked for all year round. It is a beautiful foundation and I even picked up a second shade to wear when my skin is a little more pale.

I think the cushion gives more coverage. It is a thicker formula. La Prairie claims the liquid foundation has more coverage but I don't think so. I will do a video soon comparing the two. I can't wait to hear what you think of the powder. I love it.

They definitely need to step up their shade range. They are really lacking.
