I watched trigun years ago, with the remake I decided to watch it again and I can confidently say that it’s one of my favorite shows of all time. Vash’s character arc really is punching me in the gut now that I’m older and going through the fandom currently makes me wish I had rewatched it sooner 🖤

​@@The_Paper_Star_Wizard_Hat It's a new adaptation of the manga which so far has more elements from it in it than the original anime did, tho to be fair, the original anime had to work with not even 30 chapters released when it came out and had to fill the story with some guidelines the author gave them and despite that, they did a good job The story in Stampede is also sligthly changed, but just like with the original there's some changes I don't mind and I actually wanna see what they are going for and then there's some I'm not really fond of, but so far there was more of that in the original, still, we are missing at least half a season of Stampede (o so I hope at least), so we'll see

It barely used anything from the manga (the little they did indeed revealed some new tidbits but again, its very little), nor feels anything like the manga or the 98 show, which unlike what people say DID capture the interactions between characters and the attitude of said characters pretty well. Stampede meanwhile abandoned all that makes trigun trigun (comedy, fun loud interactions, thoughts of phylosophy and ideology, etc, etc, etc)

Well on the Multiple Bullets special tome (which was a compilation of dounjinshins and drawings made by different mangakas in commemoration for the Badlands Rumble movie, which also has 2 chapters whichs serve as the continuation for the movie's cliffhanger), there was one with this style, and the story focuses on Meryl and Milly trying to figure out how to find Vash after he escaped from them and the Earth Brigade, while they're broadcasting their TV section. A funny thing is that Wolfwood possessed Milly to try to help them to find him, everyone who watched that section (with the exception of Livio) were thinking that was a great performance and the "character" becomes a fan favorite 😆
