17:34 As someone who has been to La Ronde a few times, I can attest to the fact that there was indeed a log flume at one time. I forget what year they closed down, but last time I went the only thing left of it was what you see there . A few other things La Ronde used to have There was a sky ride that went across the lake. There was a two story classic dark ride that I think was in the area where the Larson Looper now is. There was a monorail , as you noted that had two stations, around both the front and back entrance, so you could use it as both a ride and as transportation There was a standup roller coaster kind of beside where the B&M batman clone is currently. I think that only operated for about 10 years. It was a different layout than the skyrider which used to be at Canada's Wonderland. I recall going one year and I think I remember there being a Spongebob motion simulator ride that you found at a lot of parks at one time. This may have been a travelling version of the ride. And being in Montreal , the audio was en francais. I have to wonder too, is this the only park in the world that has both an SLC and a B&M inverted coaster. I remember riding both last time I was there , and I seem to recall the B&M being a smoother ride.

La Ronde may be a Six Flags park but it's also half owned by the city of Montreal as it was originally the part of the grounds for Expo '67. Some of the rides are from Expo, like the observation tower and the monorail which obviously was removed. The split ownership and history of the park does kind of prevent La Ronde from being a better amusement park but I personally really appreciate the history and love La Ronde for what it is. The setting is fantastic, hopefully with the Cedar Fair / Six Flags merger we'll see a little more investment into rides. Replacing the few rides they've lost since in recent years would be a great start. Their firework shows are incredible, you can thank Montreal's partial ownership for that. It's the city that hosts the fireworks competition, not Six Flags.

I think this has the potential to be one of the best parks in the Six Flags chain if they decide to put more attention into it. But if they don't, I actually think they should sell it to Merlin Entertainment and have them turn it into the Thorpe Park or Gardaland of North America.

The trick there is that the park is half owned by the city, selling would be needlessly complicated. Maybe the Cedar Fair merger with Six Flags will bring some positive changes.
