Oh no, why is the upper end of the heel cup not covered by the slingshot, anymore? I always appreciated that in LaSpo shoes as you don't pull it off as easily on aggressive heelhooks. EDIT: I just realised that the old katana also had a heel cup that finishes on top of the tension band, it just wasn't as obvious due to the coloring, being black on black.

In fact I bought these last week as I used the old katanas for years. I bought 41.5 EU size on the old model and they fit super nice and dont slip off. I also got 41.5 EU on the new model and they are huge! Way to big and comfy. The actual size of the new model is bigger by comparison sole to sole. Like 5 mm longer on the heel. I am going to return them.

Solution geared toward Bouldering? I definitely dont think so. The comp maybe , but not the original ones.

Hey Bill, Do you have experience with them delaminating? I personally haven't heard those complaints so I'm curious why you have that concern. -Andreas
