I don't think so. I purchased the plant from OSH 12-15 years ago and it was big label from La Verne Nursery. I do have new plants now: La Verne Pink and La Verne White.

Hi Primel, it is not self fertile. It needs pollen from another DF. 30 days from bud to flower, and another 35 from flower to fruit. It could go up to 3lbs fruit. La Verne Red Dragon Fruit.

I may have frozen pollen from Vietnam White. The bloom season is over. Hope next year. The best way is to have multiple varieties and mix the polllen.

Alik….first thank you for the info….I have a question…when you say you live in California you know there are many climate zones in California….I live in the San Gabriel valley close to the 210 and 57 freeways….are you in Southern California? Can you recommend a nursery where they would have Laverne dragon fruit plants? I found a place here where I live cal poly Pomona it is a university and they sell Laverne dragon plants….but I think they are grown from seed and I would like to get a plant that comes from a plant that produces fruit already…so if you know a nursery please let me know thank you….
