LA VLOG | Flying to LA, 4 days in LA, Raising Canes, Hollywood & Universal | CALIFORNIA ROAD TRIP 1

Welcome to our first California Road Trip vlog- in part one of our little series we fly to LA, walk to the Hollywood Sign, try Raising Canes for the first time, have Hailey Bieber smoothies at Erewhon and visit Universal Studios Hollywood amongst much more. It's quite a long one, I don't think they will all be this long. Lots of talking in this one.
We travelled to California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona on a 2.5 week family road trip this summer and this LA vlog is the first of six vlogs I am doing. I love making travel videos, firstly for the memories and secondly because being away inspires me so much creatively.

I'm Katie, I live in the UK with my husband Jon and our 3 children aged 13, 11 and 8. I love photography, videography, generally being creative, and being outside whenever I can. We loved LA when we went, we did Venice Beach, Universal, etc like you but you found some great places we didn't go to. I actually think I preferred Universal Hollywood to the Florida one.

Ooh thats interesting, I still I think I probably ever so slightly just preferred Universal Studios Florida just cause I feel like it is more of an experience, getting to go on the Hogwarts Express to the different parks etc and because it is bigger but then I like Universal Studios Hollywood because it is small. It was perfect for a day, I felt like we got everything done we wanted and if we had 2 days we could have spent a little more time enjoying it at a slower pace, but it is still easy enough to get everything you want to do done in a day.

Yes parking was ok generally but driving in LA is a nightmare 😂

Love the vlog !! I am a nervous one when it come to flight after a bad flight … how do you deal with your nerves ? Would love to take my son to New York ❤

I can't really help as I am honestly one of the most nervous flyers! But I just adore seeing the world and travelling and so I just try and not let my fears get the better of me, it is hard though, flying makes me so anxious. Sorry that was no help at all haha.

Not sure what’s boring at all about driving around the US on holiday, seeing the sights, chatting to your family and having quality family time but we are all different :)
