Do you think this situation was caused by climate change? If climate change caused the conditions for these fires, when are your elected officials going to accept that and take the necessary precautions to mitigate the dangers? @@evastill5491 Sorry... Here in Southern California we have what are known as Santa Ana winds. We have not had rain in almost a year. This past summer was hot...3 digits. Everything is dry. The Santa Ana winds blow in knock over trees, down the power lines, and the dry brush is ignited. Plenty of fuel for the fires. The fires produce burning embers that travel on the erratic winds, and ignite fires else where... It's fire season.
