LAANC Authorizations - Air Control

Thanks for this, super helpful. A question! And sorry if this is a dumb one... Now that I have a LAANC approval for a certain area, how do I tell my DJI mini pro 4 drone about it? Do I have to go to DJI's site to apply for an unlock separate from the LAANC approval? Is there a way for the Air Control app to be automatically communicating with my drone so it knows I have a LAANC authorization? Thanks in advance and for your excellent drone videos!

Great question. LAANC is separate from unlocking the geo zone with DJI. In order to unlock a zone, go to fly-safe.dji.com/home, input your information and that is how it becomes unlocked in your Mini 4 Pro. Thanks for watching!!!

The grid is shaded red and shows 400'. There is a message stating LAANC unavailable. Is there some way to get a clearance inside this delta airspace?

You would need to send a formal airspace waiver request to the FAA. It cannot be done through the app unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
