hey Dr. Thanks for great expression. Im responsible this experiment today. I was cheking the videos about it then I found you (thanks god). My teacher will ask the some of calculates. I learned the neutralization from your video. but Im in trouble with dissocation and formation of f NH4NO3. Could you possible to help me to solve it ?

Is one of the errors that we assumed that the specific heat capacity for the solution is the same as water? Because the resulting solution is not just water.
@AliHayek5 жыл бұрын
You may say that. But the solution is diluted and is mainly water. So the error in this case is very insignificant.

If the ratio between the acid and base its different but the volume and concentration are the same, do I still calculate the limiting reagent normally; for example, I have 25 cm3 of 2NaOH and 25 cm3 of H2SO4, the moles of both are 0.0125 moles and the ratio is 2:1. Do I divide the mole by the ratio in order to get the listing reagent? therefore, the Limiting reagent would be H2SO4. Also if the balanced equation is 2NaOH + H2SO4, when calculating the moles of NaOH, do I have to multiply the volume and concentration by 2 since its 2NaOH?

For the Q equation, would the specific heat capacity be the specific heat capacity of watet (4.18)?
@AliHayek5 жыл бұрын
Yes.

Do we have to add the acid slowly or can we add it all in one go?
@AliHayek6 жыл бұрын
All in one go and measure the temperature quickly and record the highest temperature.
