I have a Direct Force 2.1 and love it. The lighter you grip it the straighter it rolls.

Currently there are more shaft options, several more alignment options, and colour options than presented in this excellent video. Have a DF and a Mezz +. Both are wonderful and by far the best putters I’ve used in 62 years of golf.

Great video. I bought my first DF2.1 L.A.B. putter off of E-bay and loved it, then I bought another one, the arm lock DF2.1 with the white LA Golf 45. I like it, but it has taken a while for me to get used to the arm lock method of putting and sometimes I have alignment issues with it. I tend to miss to the left quite a bit. I do not really notice much difference with the expensive LA Golf shaft versus the regular stock shaft. I think I have to take the club head back much farther on long putts and hit it a bit harder than with my old traditional putters. All in all I do like the L.A.B. putters and am interested in trying one of the new Mezz putters.

I've had a DF2.1 for over a year and love it. The look never bothered me and, as you mentioned, getting the ball in the hole is more important. I recently got a Mezz1. As good as the DF2.1 is, I like the Mezz1 better. It's the most stable putter I've used. Even my 11 year old son has noticed how much better I've been putting with the Mezz1, and he's usually pretty oblivious to anything not related to video games. Before getting the Mezz1, I had never been a fan of center shafted putters or putters with fangs. Now, it's my favorite club in the bag.

agree 100% Dave. I want to like the mezz more but I just don't ... YET.

@@bryanzgolfpro if I struggle with wiggling a bit when I do a stroke back putting, you think lab golf broomstick is a better option than standard? I can't keep the putter on line
@bryanzgolfpro2 жыл бұрын
@@giomusah2155 likely due to dominating your stroke with your hands... I would suggest trying broomstick or maybe armlock. You can probably go to a local store to try either one and really feel like you are trying to engage your shoulders, especially with the arm lock putter. Other than that, there's a lot of training aids to help with this issue.

Hey quick question. If you hold the shaft on 2 fingers of the directed force 2.1 (to test for toe-hang or face balance etc.), does you putter go into a single position everytime as well if you rotate it and let it balance? It's neither like face-balance (pointing up) nor toe-hang, but instead going into a position you'd also put from (facing to the side, like square)? Not sure if mine has a problem or if this is normal
@bryanzgolfpro2 жыл бұрын
Not sure I fully understand without seeing on video, but these putters are all balanced according to the lie angle at playing position, that's the only thing that matters.
@Q-Bits82 жыл бұрын
@@bryanzgolfpro i know that's the only thing that matters, but I'm still curious at how it is balanced in a horizontal position. Can you confirm it just takes itself to a square position?
@bryanzgolfpro2 жыл бұрын
@@Q-Bits8 it does vary when you do that test. It does not face the sky every time like a traditional face balanced putter.

@bryanzgolfpro2 жыл бұрын
@@Q-Bits8 I wouldn't go off of that test. The only thing that matters is if it stays square as it putts in the playing position. If you have a local store or fitter for lab golf putters they can put your putter in the test unit and it will show if it is balanced correctly or not.
