Would the current only be limited by the hardware you are using? I have a 2017 Kia Soul EV 27kWh. It has chademo connection and is capable of 175A. Only there are very few chargers with a chademo plug that support more than 125A. With a CCS to chademo adapter that supports at least 175A I could use the full potential of my car. This would be much faster for longer trips.

Yes exactly, because I use a 50A Anderson connector and 3D-printed CHAdeMO plug I didn't want to exceed 70A. But otherwise more is possible

Cool !!! Hi. Can you make the electronics for the station side? So that you can charge from your own three-phase socket. I have a 20 kW inverter, which is controlled via CAN, and I have already managed to control it, produce the required current and voltage.

Yes though their offer isn't quite comparable as it's more of a turnkey solution and I suppose the price includes handholding as well.

well, you will still be surprised how many people are in my situation, i.e that can just about afford to do it (without DC charging) but don't because, the extra (eventual) £4000 to really use the vehicle, just pushes it out of their financial reach, so thankyou sincerely for your hard work.@@EngineersFear
