Back in my younger days, I raced a good deal of endurance events. Most were long haul desert races, with competitors from all over the world. Clearly, the biggest improvement you can make, is to add a bigger eagle head. Addition of laser beams, for eyes, would also up the ante considerably. Be aware, though. These kinds of upgrades aren't for the faint hearted.

Thanks! I look at classified ads once in a while, but the TW200 is usually listed for about $3,500 used. I'll have to save up for that.

Also you should consider a few mods, even if its a 150cc i'd still be interestimg to see if it can make more power

There are very cheap 200cc big bore kits from China. I put an 80cc kit on my 50cc scooter. It made a huge difference.

@@Marauder252 theyre close to 200cc but not quite there, and yes big bore kits add performance and make a huge difference but you will need to tune your carb a little

Appreciate the video, I own a 50cc Jinlun Sunny JL-50QT-6A and its pretty close to your bike including the body and frame, all but the gas tank placement and gauges. I may very well do what you did, my bike could use a rebuild.

Great Job,....I would have done the same thing. How much does a 125 scooter cost compared to a grom copy or a 125 motorcycle copy that are honda engine copy's. How much does a 125 scooter cost compared to a Hawk, Magician, brozz?

It would be much safer to install the fuel shut off valve directly onto the tank. The way it is now, if the hose leaks between the tank and the shut-off valve, the entire contents of the tank will spill onto your garage floor.

If your scooter has been sitting for a long time, it's likely you have a plugged main jet. Take your carburetor out of the scooter and clean it.

You also lost the protection of having the fuel beneath the carb. The way you have it now, should the needle and seat fail, your engine will be full of gas. While you will probably shut off the petcock over the winter, are you really going to remember to close it every single time come home?
