i thought this was a new album release since its out a few days ago :( why do bands do this? keep reposting old stuff

Glad to answer that for you! We love doing music but we also have full time jobs. And we don’t get to dedicate the majority of our time to music thus our process is slower than full time bands. Whereas we have around 130K streams on the album, in the grand scheme of things, there’s still a pretty massive population of people that this song is totally new to. We, ourselves, are discovering “new to us” music every day. So while we work (in the limited time we can put towards the band) on our next record, we decided to push this as the last single off the record. And it’s honestly performed better on YT than basically anything else we’ve posted.
