Yes every party that wins elections breaks some of the manifesto promises. However, Labour are taking that to the extreme and throwing in some very cruel and punishing decisions, not to mention practically inviting illegal immigrants which is against what most British people actually wanted. This figure focuses on crucial infrastructure, such as flood defenses, urban drainage upgrades, and coastal protection, which are necessary to cope with increased climate-related risks. Net zero create public debt and this is why taxes will go up. But I would rather spend the net zero money being sent overseas and here on ADAPTING. not waiting for someone in government to come out and say 'well we've hit net zero lads, but unfortunately we need another £50 billion+ and take into account inflation' idiots in power.

Net zero is all well and good if the whole world is going for it. Since 1750 to 2023 UK emissions are only 3% (some claim 5%) and that includes the industrial revolution which benefited the world. I think in that case it may have been to remove fees for university but not sure. As far as medical training is concerned, all we have to do is send our young people to the countries from which we were previously importing the staff and have them do their training there in 5 minutes. Simples. Same with care staff, mid wives, teachers. Want an HGV licence? go to Rumania and take it straight away, no waiting 4 years after your first pass in a car . Come back straight after and drive the lorries and PSVs. Whats sauce for the Goose is sauce for the Gander. WAnt farm workers? Advertise for them in the windows of shops here. 16-retirement age. Accomodation for the duration. Low wages but no rent to pay. Its an absolute lie that there werent willing workers here.
