I don't understand the negativity of the interviewer at 3:48. Surely if the shortfall is halved, that is good, no? They would be an incoming government. What use is there making a more ambitious promise if they can't deliver it. If they have this goal of halving the shortfall and they breeze past it and do better, then that's good, is it not?
