Tbh I honestly don't care about the religion of the oppressed vs the oppressor It's why I support : Shia Yemen over Sunni Saudi Arabia (Mosf Muslims in the UK are Sunni) Mostly Muslim Palestine over mostly Jewish Israel Christian majority secular Armenia over Muslim majority secular Azerbaijan What matters to me is the people on the ground. Nothing is grounds for oppression. Tbh I joke about the whole "There's only one kind of good fascist" too, but I'd still feel incredibly morally conflicted if I had to oppress my oppressor. From my experience, we approached the Labour MP representing our area who recieved hundreds of emails from me and others about what is going in Gaza. She kept replying in a way as if to keep the constituents numb and calming them down with cut and paste automated like responses. When it came to her monthly newsletters about everything she said, done or participated with as a representative of the people, she had ZERO contribution or shared opinion about Palestine, Gaza , or calling to stop the genoside or call for a seasfire or allowing the much needed aid to the children of Gaza. I will NEVER vote labour ever again. It seems the MPs are underestimating our intellegence.
