25% of the electorate voting for you and a first pass the post political system which has serious failings does not give you ' a mandate ' especially as Labour lied or were economical with the truth over their plans.

Less than 10 million ( about 23% of the vote) voted for this Labour government, fewer votes than Jeremy corbyn got and lost in the 2019 election.. We have 46,500,000 people in the UK that could vote .( No real mandate).to be honest.
