Thank you for the video! I have a senior design project starting now. We have been talking about using python to maybe take in data from sensors (that we will need to install) on a paint spray gun. We need to predict the thickness of the paint applied and find any thin spots or areas of excess thickness when all is said and done. Would you recommend LabVIEW for a project like this? The only other software we were considering was python because it kept being recommended.

Would interresting how you decided? If you use labview on raspberry pi it comes down to realtime abilities and if it can run a loop fast enought to calculate all teh values For phyton i'd say it gives you the ability to create more open interface but it is more work to be done and closer to the hardware :-/ I would spring for labview if the included linux/labview code was realtime capable ! But think it is not
