I love people like you :-) Your tutorial is very well done. Keep up the great work!! One note of caution. Make sure to enable SSH if you are having issues connecting to the RPI3. I'm on a campus network and I couldn't connect to the RPI3 until I had enabled the SSH feature.

i had a problem connecting to the RP and i finally found the solution. make sure to enable SSH on your RP in the config manager

This does the trick :) Add a empty file with the name "ssh" on the boot partition and insert the SD card into the pi. After booting, ssh is activated and the connection can be established.

If you have the Problem, that when you try run Linx Targetconfiguration, it says Interrogation failed The key of your problem is, that you have first to conect your raspi in NI MAX

but the raspberry its conected to the ethernet port of the lap top or to the modem?

The PC and the RPI should be connected to the same network. The easiest way is to connect both to the same ethernet router. If you directly connect the RPI to the PC via Ethernet you'll have to manually configure the network adapters on the PC and RPI so they can talk to one another. The router does this for you using DHCP.

I also had a problem conecting and there were some zip files that needed to be extracted in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2014\vi.lib\MakerHub\LINX\Resources

At this point LabVIEW for BBB/RPI is only supported in LabVIEW 2014.

I don't think we'll have LabVIEW 2016 support in the near future. You can install multiple version of LabVIEW on the same PC which makes this a bit more manageable but I know it can still be a pain.
