Super fun basic game! Love your mood, sold me on sticking around for the whole video.

Glad you guys still like this game - I love this game too. Just thought to mention that there is the cooperative Labyrinth: Team Edition with some more decision space now.

Recently learned about this game. I’m so impressed with the mechanism and the age range that can play. It’s one of the few games my 28 year old son plays with us.

I've been playing this game since the 90s. It's fun for talking with a guest while playing. If you get a little bored with one, try the ocean theme or Harry Potter ones. The Potter one is a little hard if you don't pay good enough attention to your goal card because some of the characters look similar to me and friends who have played it with me. Ocean is my favorite these days after decades of the original

Iv'e bought the game for my 80 years old parents. It's perfect for this age. We (45, 76, 89) love it.

Yea I came up with some variations on how many cards you get and what order you can complete them in. Still a fun game. I play with a forever novice player so I'd add that while it's simple to understand, some may struggle with tactics of what to shift. Probably along the same lines as "things you didn't like" number 2, they may need to be treated gently or given a helping hand.

I would add a plus. It is very easy to let your child win without it being obvious. Since nobody knows what is your target square, you can postpone reaching it indefinitely. This part was important for me because my daughter would sometimes start crying just because she was behind in a game. Getting the experience she can make up for a bad start and not expecting help was very nice.

This is the game that hot my wife into playing games with me. We still play as a family with our daughters

You’re right in that this is miles better than Enchanted Forest. I still enjoy a game of this with my kids and would even play it with adults as a bit of fun before the main game of the night. It’s incredibly luck based though - sometimes you can just breeze to one treasure after another because the path to reach them is already almost there. As for it being too long, we always play with only 5 or six cards each. Im never going to get rid of this one.

Which boardgame would you recommend for a family with 5 kids all of them boys? Oldest one being 5 years.
@BoardGameBollocks3 жыл бұрын
How many players in all? How old is the youngest?
@SeniorAdrian3 жыл бұрын
@@BoardGameBollocks Well included myself a maximum of 6. Youngest still can't play haha only 2 months but for the future. A 4 player game is well recived too. They like cars a lot. Oldest one likes chess. All of them watch PawPatrol.

Try Formula D. It’s roll and move with easy rules. You can dump out any rules you think are too complex. Have a look at any HABA games too. They make quality titles for younger kids.

That is an old classic. I have most of the ravensburger kids games and they had some fun with them.

It’s amazing that, perhaps along with HABA, Ravensburger have shown unrivalled consistency with kids games.

Also a great game for no -heavy gamer friends. Agreed about potentially taking too long. We will play with three cards per player. And just play again if the game goes by quickly.

This game got me and my wife into board games just last October! Now I own a complete Descent Second Edition collection, minus the extra pack of dice. :/
@BoardGameBollocks4 жыл бұрын
We got rid of Descent. Not because it was bad, but rather the campaign based nature meant we couldn’t get the same people to play it week in week out.

So true it is a great little family game but yeah it can go on and on and small people can get a bit upset.

There is another version of this game called Master Labyrinth which is basically the same game but with a different theme. Also may be more challenging due to different ingredient chips are worth more and have to be claimed in a certain order.
