So many rules questions on this game and I’m not sure it’s going to work with two players. Lots of complaints about 2 player, round too long, aliens killing the flow, gets boring in last half. My copy is coming in a few days and I am not looking forward to trying to get through it.

I was wondering how long you could resist putting Uranus and probe into the same sentence. Thankfully, not long. The Two Ronnies have a lot to answer for among our generation. I got this game a few weeks ago as Chaos had the game on a good pre-order deal. Not played it yet, but I am looking forward to doing so as the theme is absolutely up my street (that's not another euphemism for Uranus). I'm glad the game is quite open and not as tight as a polar bear's bum. Euros seem to take excessive pride in being so mechanically tight that it's an exercise in self-flagellation.

I'm hoping that the expansions aren't named after planets, but if they are, I don't think I'll pick up the Uranus expansion.

Awesome video, very helpful. I’m an axis and allies fan and built a special room in my house just so we can play that game without quitting early because it takes us several Saturday nights over the period of several months to complete a game. I recently received Memoir 44 for Xmas. Painted all the pieces and played a game of Pegasus Bridge with all the usual Axis and Allies players. We all love the game. Short quick gameplay(less than an hour) and easy to understand. We’ve started getting into some of the other battles now and it’s really cool. I was getting ready to purchase some expansion packs but was unsure where to start as a novice player. I have a list now thanks to your video
