I’d love to see you review Return to Oz from 1985, it’s in this same realm - I absolutely loved it as a kid but a lot of people think it’s creepy. It’s just so creative and well done, and more intriguing in my opinion (I always struggled to get through Labyrinth, it’s so boring to me). There’s some really cool puppetry and villains in Return to Oz.

@Just-Jaci oh wow! That sounds fun 😆 okay, I'll look that one up, thank you for recommending it! Are you going to see the new Wicked film with Ariana Grande? As of now, I have no plans to see it, but I've listened to the audio book of Wizard of Oz.

Return to Oz is nothing like the first Wizard of Oz, it’s much more dark. Yes, I’m planning to see it - I think I have to for my inner child, heheh.

@@Just-Jaci I love Return to Oz, and was lucky to see it in the theater. Jennifer, please don’t think of it as a sequel to the MGM movie. It’s more based on the books.

Jennifer! You look gorgeous and I love that shirt :) I was late to the party with Labyrinth. I saw it as a teen and thought it was great :) David Bowie is always so charismatic in everything he does and Jennifer Connelly is like you say, so gorgeous :) The Little puppet friends she makes are so cute but some of the puppets are creepy! I also like the music :)

@emmad.176 wow, thanks for the compliment! I felt like my teeth were too yellow in this video so you made me feel better, thank you, lol yes to David Bowie. He's left his mark on the world. I think I liked the giant puppet friend she made the best. Lol to creepy puppets. As much as I made fun of them, they were really cool. 🤭🥰 thank you for watching. Good to hear from you.

I thought for a second she was the actress who played Sarah.

Labyrinth is one of my family's movies, you know? It was a special movie in our house. It introduced me and my older sister to David Bowie! When I was a kid, the baby being taken really scared me because I had younger siblings & the thought of something happening to them was too much for me. Haven't rewatched this as a mom yet, but i imagine I'll feel similar (if not worse)! I thought it was really sweet how concerned you were for the baby actor. ❤ I love the masquerade scene!! & Dance Magic Dance! Those red things in the forest creeper me out, too! I also love when they're trying to distract her by bringing her to "her room" with all its stuff, and she says, "it's all junk". That really speaks to me at this point in my life - all that really matters is family.

@jessicaa.m.harper1727 I love this. Thank you for listening to my perspective. I'm glad it was one of your family movies growing up. David Bowie is super talented and there really is something so magnetic about him. I feel like this film has so many unforgettable moments. ❤️ thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

I love Labyrinth! Jennifer Connelly was an early celebrity crush of mine. She was only 14 during filming, but I was 12. One of my favorite parts was the fakeout at the beginning. From the scenery and the dress it looks like Sarah lives in a fairy tale world, but then she runs home and we see she's wearing jeans. There is a great behind the scenes documentary, Inside the Labyrinth, free with ads on KZbin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmmpeImuebBlfac ps. I love The Neverending Story too! It's my favorite movie ever.

@v_zach yay for Never Ending Story!!!! Did you ever read the book? I listened to the audio book, which seems to blend elements of part 2 into it... or I'm guessing they separated the book into 2 films. I'll definitely have to check the documentary! Thanks for sharing! I totally, totally understand the crush on Connelly! Stunning woman!

@@OakesPrincessI read The Neverending Story 20 years ago. I’ve forgotten most of the second half. Do you think you’ll review the movie?
@OakesPrincessАй бұрын
@v_zach after you say that, I'm feeling like I should..🤭😆 we gotta bring awareness to that gem! Keep it alive! 😆 I've felt busy with homeschooling lately so I've been behind on my uploads.. we've got a lot of family this week for a wedding, which is exciting.. but someone requested Return to Oz, but I feel like Never Ending Story should be up there as well. 🤗

@EricaLyons-mi5cp that horse scene was devastating! My kids made me turn it off at that scene 😅 maybe we'll try it again when they're older. 😅
