Thank you guys for this. Discussing about the game and the choices made while showing the gameplay is top notch.

It's funny how just a couple of "small" changes to the scenario make a big difference in the gameplay!

Nice video. It does show one of my main issues with Labyrinth though; that as the US so much of the game is spend just trying to WoI European countries just to get prestige up so you can WoI other countries. It makes the strategy feel a bit flat as it looks like the only obvious move to make and is heavily luck based. I feel the game is great when you're making interesting choices but they always feel few and far between.

I agree with you to some extent. The same thing can happen to the bad guys when their funding runs low and they have nothing better to do than plot, plot, plot. I would say that in a typical game, about 60 to 70% of the time there are many interesting decisions to be made, but it certainly can bog down, especially if you miss certain key die rolls.

I think playing against the AI (not the bot) makes for a much better experience.

Yes, I agree, although I've yet to quantify exactly what the differences are between the two. It's a challenge either way

@@LegendaryTactics The rules for the AI are the same as for a human opponent. None of that nonsense about events not triggering when played by the bot or invented actions like radicalization. I found the US AI to be pretty decent when I last played with the jihadists.

Yes, I have been pleased with it so far. Although I don't think US events trigger for the AI, if I'm not mistaken. I agree that the radicalization rules and such make the game hard to manage and less fun

It is a mistake to have a character named AL. An Al, or Al, virgin Al, even Dent Al are not things you want to talk about.
