The funny thing here is that this is a really obscure song for Bruce, but is good enough to be a massive hit for anyone else! 🤣

Easily in my top 10 bruce song. Absolutely chuffed I found this live version. That dude must be stoked.

The guy was right, this is one of the best - even if most obscure - Bruce' songs!

The guy continues to amaze me. Now I've always loved this song since I first heard it on Tracks. Here Bruce does it a step down in C but man on the album version he does it in D and near the end, at that part that he counted off and then comes back in, on Tracks he holds it and holds it and then holds it just... a ...little...bit....longer....and then BOOM!!!! and then the Boss kicks it in on that open D note and It just kills me every time-so great. How can one songwriter have so many great songs that like this one, that can't even make the album? I advise everyone to go to the studio version of this song and I guarantee you it'll make you feel like you just drank a quadruple shot espresso

One of the songs that made me fall in love with the boss when I was a child. Simply amazing , it should be included in every setlist , unfortunately it is an obscure song

@two-toneblue74556 жыл бұрын
Yeah. The charts are full of crap. Bruce is *off* the charts. This kinda thing's hard to do when your set's programmed into a laptop. Glad you got your song played, bro. You earned it. Next time... join him onstage. Start practising!

Love Springsteen but sums up his inability to realize a true live crowd rocking arm waving anthem. Just dropped the ball on this one, the fan payed thousands to hear it and the Boss just bombed the chance to thank the guy for his loyalty. I guess you take um as they come
@edfarmer655529 күн бұрын
He thanked the guy by talking to him and playing his song. It sure looked like the guy was happy enough with that.
