I'm giving my mom a bridal shower for her 54th wedding anniversary. One thing she didn't get to do and wished she had done was a bridal shower, so I'm going to surprise her with a luxurious bridal shower so she can feel like a Queen for the day....I'll be making these beautiful rose petal bridal candles as centerpieces. I'm so excited 🤗 tfs 😘

What type of paper did you use for the skirt

For the underskirt of the rose petals I used leftover craft paper. You can get it at any craft shop but construction paper will work too. Even thin cardboard (cut up a cereal box) or photo grade paper would work.

What weight paper are you using for the base of the rose pedal gown?

I used a poster board piece from Dollar tree. I's in their Jot office supply section. I think it comes with 4-5 pieces and I'm not sure if the still sell it but any lightweight poster board should work.

Sorry I didn't see this but it really doesn't matter which you get. I have made a ton of these and I used both sizes. You can cut the middle out more to make smaller ones. Hope that helps.
