Lachlan Morton Update Day 12

Lachlan Morton has entered the tropics of Western Australia.
With temperatures climbing to 36°C he departs each morning under the cover of darkness to beat the heat.
His crew of five includes wife Rachel who is a tower of strength and support.
He has completed 40% of the distance required to break the around-Australia record of 37 days.
Difference being he has just finished day 12. At this rate the record will be obliterated.

It's difficult for most people to fully comprehend the effort and commitment that goes in to a ride like that. Lachlan is so awesome, and I wish him the best of luck!

Interested to know when Lachlan is expecting to finish back in Port Macquarie. My wife and I are big fans and love to drive to Port to cheer him home.
