You should use clear transparent sleeves for your cards. Even though it's encased in a binder, it's good practice to ensure no damage is done to the cards

I'm working on getting the original 151 as well. Base set, Jungle set, Fossil set and Base set 2. Finally collected all commons, uncommons and rares and slowly working on holos but don't have any of the starters since they're crazy expensive.
