About having the reference photo on screen: I'm not going to paint or draw from a tiny photo in the corner of a youtube video. However, when you work in colored pencils and do put the reference photo on screen, I find that I keep shifting between looking at the photo and your drawing. So it is helping me develop that habit of frequently consulting the reference photo. My laptop screen is too small for me to see any details of what you're doing unless I use the whole screen, so downloading the photo doesn't really help. I have tried shifting between tabs, but it isn't nearly as useful. I'm not saying you should hide the boys, I wouldn't want that. I'm just saying that there are benefits to being able to see what you are looking at while you paint and draw, even if the photo on screen is useless as an actual reference photo.

Aside from painting, why is your dog so incredibly thin??? If I can see ribs from this video with him lying down that’s not good at all.

@@deborahbrighton6992 he's a greyhound. His weight is perfect for the breed. Unfortunately everyone is so used to seeing obese dogs that when they see a healthy greyhound they jump to assuming they're underweight which is not at all the case.
