Best piano player I have ever heard in my 74 yrs. Played a little boogie myself, and listened to all the jazz,blues@ boogie players since 1952, Luca is the best.

Luca plays Boogie woogie with one of the best phrasing and balance between hands as I have ever seen in boogie players this generation. :-)

I just can't believe this guy. Why haven't I heard of him yet. I've been a musician all my life and I've listened to a lot of great piano players over the years, but this guy just about takes the cake. He has to be the best boogie-blues-jazz-oriented, monster of a piano player I've ever heard. One of the signs of a really good musician in my eyes, is someone who doesn't cheat. By that I mean doesn't just skip certain notes in a run up or down the keys that need to be there. He plays the notes I really want to hear and doesn't skip the really difficult ones. Besides that, hes got a command of the keyboard that is in the top tiers of musicianship. Marc Trainor.

Yes! I've heard his composition "Key Engine' dozens of times - loop it frequently - and I am still awestruck by the 'walking bass' in that one. So gifted!

Hello Luca! I hope you can see this message yourself. About 2 years ago when i was 15 years old I came across some boogie woogie videos on you tube. I was completely stunned and blown away with what these musicians could do with an ordinary piano.- Now I did go to music school for about 5 years playing the clarinet wich my parents forced me to do. I hated it and said to myself I would never play any music ever again.- But boogie woogie gave me new inspiration i never felt before. I wanted to learn it so bad! So I did! I looked at some video tutorials on you tube and figured some of it by myself listening to pieces such as swanee river boogie by ear. I was blown away when i mastered my first piece. I continued to learn by internet and by ear untill now / Im 17 years old). But in that time I lost inspiration I became sad since I couldn't learn perfect playing by myslef and my computer. You were always an inspiration and competiton. I kept saying to myself if luca could play it at 13 years old the I can do it too. But I couldn't. I have practiced for about 6 months out of 2 years i spend since I saw that first video of boogie woogie. And now I stand in front of you asking you for any advice of what I should do. (BTW here in Slovenia such music ins't very well known). Maybe we can even be pen firends. Cheers and bless your playing Luca. A great goodbye from Slovenia.

I don't get it either. A good friend of mine (who is a professional musician) told me jokingly the difference between Jazz and Classical musicians. It went like this : Do you know how to shut up a classical musician ? => you take away his music sheets. Do you know how to shut up a jazz musician ? => you give him some music sheets to play. Seems pretty legit to me so far. :)
