Hi Stew and Jane. Videos just get better! Well done Stew for capturing the different stages of glass blowing and cutting in Waterford Glass! Brought back good memories of the 1990s when I carried out some work there on contract. It was a much larger operation then, located on three sites. For info. that furnace is never quenched, as the molten glass would irretrievably solidify!! Thanks for uploading!👍 Tom

Thanks for watching and above all the great feedback - point taken on the quench lol I must of misheard or mid communicated it

Many years ago my parents met a man who worked at the Waterford crystal factory and he gave them a glass heart pendant and a glass walking stick 😯. Apparently they can practice with waste glass in their spare time.

Another lovely beach park up! Ever since watching Jaws for the first I've been convinced that swimming in the open sea is life-threatening so kudos to you both! Sad to see the dead birds everywhere, especially such handsome ones. Fingers crossed their numbers recover. Happy travels x

@GetawayGeese I'm from Waterford and currently living on the continent. I couldn't exist without regular trips back. Ireland is listed as the 3rd safest country in which to live in the world. I think it is also one of the most beautiful.

Karl said he's been to Waterford, before my days though. Nice beach park up, very relaxing. Nice to hear Jane say Alsation as hardly anyone uses that word nowadays. Stew should have stayed in as it would have been really great for his back pain. I love it when it actually smells like the sea, it's a great smell. Yep, avian flu has been around a few months. They had signs when we were on Arran and that's been a while. Gannets are beautiful birds.

Hey thanks for watching and commenting hope you are all well. Jane used to have an Alsatian when she lived in Australia…. Yes my back would of been better I am sure but I would have had cardiac arrest lol I like to be boiled like a lobster I don’t know how people go in it when it’s that cold

I’ve seen people bag up their dog’s poo and leave it on the side of the path with the intention of picking it up on the way back. But when they forget, it’s worse than if they hadn’t bothered.

My first comment disappeared. That’s only out the road from me Bunmahon. The pub ye where in is the Engine House in Bunmahon. The place in Kilmurrin you can stay over night down where it says Campervan . But during the winter it’s ok to stay up by the wall. It’s because it’s to busy during the summer they don’t allow up by the wall. I done a video on that park up in Kilmurrin. Ye where also very near the Greenway.

Hi Jane and Stew, great stuff Jane, you certainly showed Stew how it should be done, what a wimp it's only freezing cold water after all. I certainly noticed a difference between Irish Guiness and UK Guiness. Are the calming views over scenic bays never ending in southern Ireland?
