A busy 48 hours where we visit many historical sites including St Marys Church at Bannow, the abandoned PortLairge ship, Tintern Abbey and finally the iconic Hook Lighthouse. Stew experiences the delights of pastries from the SuperValue supermarket chain and chills out fishing but loses his pasta. Hook lighthouse is our free wild parkup for 2 days and we love the location but there are signs or pressure on staying overnight as local authorities reduce capacity,
Our names our Stew & Jane and along with 'Harry' our Auto Campers Ford Custom Transit campervan we are Getaway Geese, we record our adventures as we enjoy the freedom of vanlife. We hope our videos inform and maybe inspire you to vanlife whether that be permanent living or casual trips.

Hi Jane and Stew, another great video filled with fantastic content. Lovely sunsets, great scenery and the hide the pasta game. It's a shame there are so many ignorant disrespectful people about, the mess left by campers and the like around Loch Lomond is the reason you now have to have a pass to camp there, and some parts just don't allow it at all. I hope they don't ban overnight stays at the light house because of a few bad apples.

Surprised to learn that the one in Wales was the original and then two sister Abbeys were built. I did notice in your vlog that the plan shown said Tintern Monmouthshire. Anyway, if you ever get to Wales again please do try to visit Tintern there. It is beautiful sitting on the banks of the river Wye.

Pastagate had us in stitches, we had coffee gate in Scotland, hubby must have his antimurder juice on a morning and we lost our coffee after a trip to Fort William, 8 miles from our site .... we empied cupboards drawers etc and made a 16 mile round trip to buy more rather than risk divorce the next morning. We got back to the dite with the coffee and went to fill the kettle, you can guess where the coffee was .... 🤣
