I met my husband after he returned from the jungle and rice paddies of Vietnam. He talked several times about the helicopter pilots in Nam with deep respect. They were crazy fearless, brave men who risked their lives everyday dropping and picking up the foot soldiers. Many of these pilots died over there, it was such a dangerous job.
