2:15 That reminds me of Canadian highways. You see that kind of rock wall all the time. The rock in our area is so stable that you can get away with it and not even need to put any kind of netting or reinforcement. The only thing that you really have to worry about is trees falling over the ledge.

​@@williammcgeehan3424 they covered the whole tunnel inside with concrete. That outside tunnel is 15 feet shorter then the original length.
