Like being unaware you fell asleep but waking up to blurry lights that seemed far away, similar to tunnel vision. If I had to describe my state with a song, this would definitely be it. this scene is one of my fav anime scenes ever. and it saddens me that some people only see it as a massacre, because it's about so much more than just death. it's such an amazing scene to analyze, from a spectator's pov and from chrollo's pov. the fact that chrollo is at this height, because at this very moment, he's the one. he's the master above everything and everyone, the maestro who leads the deadly symphony down there in the streets. the fact that he's not following the music, but he's making it. *"Uvo, can you hear us ? We're playing a requiem for you."*, this line shows how loyal chrollo is, and how he's not playing only for him, but also for a lost member, and how all the others are following, loyal too. it shows that, despite them having different personalities, they're forming a troupe in which trust is the key-word. and as horrible as the phantom troupe is, you cannot deny how amazing and how good they are together. this scene is the highest point, the most powerful moment for them. i could talk about it for hours, and i could watch it again and again, and I'll always be blown away. it's a masterpiece, and if you don't pay attention, if you only see and don't watch, if you only hear and don't listen, you're missing everything.

@@wolffreak3336 well that's the case cause he only managed to write the first 8 verses of his Requiem. It was originally meant to be at least 16 to 20 verse long. Almost all of Motzart 's pieces are joyfully and happy.

@@mysterioushawk2171 You know the fact that he only made it halfway through the piece also adds to the solemn feeling of death the song gives. It's honestly super interesting to me and freaks me out. if you read the manga you would know he didn’t have much of a choice 😭😭 but it would be a amazing song choice. edit: it just shows the emotion of how the villain and citizens would feel….imagine the terrifying screams and last moments as the whole city goes to shit. It’s interesting becuase to me it sounds muffled, which I take to mean either someone is listening to it underwater and therefore (probably) drowning as they stare up at the surface and sink even further into the water, or they’re bleeding out/in shock and because of that everything sounds……..faint

This is how villains feel... euphoria when they slaughter half a planet, and see the hero, saver of humanity fall down, on their knees, bending their will to them, praising them as saviours, freeing them from suffering - being used by humanity, enduring immense pain fighting the villain. This is how hero's downfall feels, downfall to the dark path, path they take on after they've been used and hurt way too much, sick of "saving" people. Why save them, when you can rule them.

Obv this isnt anime but spider man!! Peter was a hero to all but he killed his bsf father and in spider man 3, we really see Harry(his bsf) mourning his fathers death and with this Harry became a villain and turned on Peter. And since his bsf turned on him, he started to change and he started becoming the villain(to his girlfriend, to his co-workers). Moral of the story, I agree with u, I was jus providing an example :)

Perfect song to play while the camera slowly pans across a scene of death. Can definitely see it in a bleeding out in the bathtub scene (the echo lends itself to bathrooms nicely) but also the way it fades in and out like consciousness makes me think it could also work for the tail end of a hanging when the body is just ceasing to thrash around. Anyway yeah I'm an author lol

Pov: You are the hero and you are seeing the entire city destroyed, those who were your loved ones have died at the hands of the villain. You can't do anything, you're lying on the ground with multiple fracture and wounds. "It's the end" you think "I couldn't stop him." and you start fading away while you hear the villains laugh, for the last time.
@Yamaguchi_Tadashi3 жыл бұрын
Pov: You are the villain you destroyed the whole city. Everythings gone! You finally did it. The hero is down after years of trying! As you climb to the top of a wrecked building with bloodied hands. "It's the end." You think "I won?..." and you start fading away as you realize your mistake you laugh hoarsely for the last time. Extra: You look down and see the hero closing their eyes your eyes widen at the thought of the hero giving up you rush down quickly glancing around at what you've done. You're worse than the hero they would sacrifice someone for the world but you would sacrifice everyone for a win! You kneel down before the hero with people glaring and staring at you. You knew they couldnt do much to you before but you have become weaker. You lift the heros head inspecting their wounds and realizing the damage you've done not only to them but to the innocents. You check the heros pulse... "Barely alive..." You manage to push out. A lump had managed to clog your throat as your eyes stung with tears. "They say a villain would sacrifice the world for someone but... I never thought it'd be you..." You whisper clutching the heros hands tightly and leaning onto them gently as a parting good bye and sorry.

Mozart Lacrimosa is a great song , this song exudes such a strong feeling , such a melancholy , but it also exudes unparalleled power , there is no way you can not see some kind of corrupted hero , who gradually became a tragic villain no matter how original song doesn't have that meaning (after all, I don't even know), but there's no way to describe how perfect it is really slow...

Just imagined this: A dark souls like game where you can't get past certain location and you immediately die if you enter it. After you defeat some other bosses you find a potion that enhances your senses and speed. When you enter that location again you see an enemy running super fast, but thanks to the potion now you can see him.This is his boss music. From your perspective the time is slowed. But he's still moving very fast in your slowed down vision, so you have to predict-dodge his moves. In his second phase visually you get slower and he gets faster.
