Game 5 clutch was crazy Leff was looking so lost in neutral. Leveraged that fgc experience and waited for his moment

It’s kinda funny to me how the commentators were basically saying Leffen’s Fox was outdated because he was playing SF6 but then he goes on to win the first game against Cody.

@@peashooter6628 uhh Cody won 5 of their last 6 sets before this one (Cody won: Earlier at LACS 5, BOBC5, Smash Summit 12, Smash Summit 9, Shine 2019). Which ones did Leffen win besides Scuffed World Tour (2022) and Smash N Splash 5 (2019) ? Anyway even if Leffen did have 3 of those 4 wins before Shine that still means in RECENT history Cody has won almost all.

For real i have finally recently accepted that cody is the best fox, and honestly he looked like the best player 95% of this tourney so this was just such a hype set especially after how it was the day before . Counterpicking yoshi's instead of FD was huge and winning (and almost losing) cuz of unfrozen stadium was just so hype. I really hope he starts playing melee as much as he did in 2018 even while juggling two games.

People didnt like to fight on fire stage because of insane combos on the right side in the nook of the tree, and the tree divided the field so one person liked to hide on the left side where it would be disadvantagous to chase. Being the aggressor ends up being scary. @bryanlilib

Think Leff would’ve beat Zain in Losers and lost to Cody in Grands. In Swiss pools he lost 3-1 and he barely scraped out this one. The set count until recently was in Cody’s favor. Cody with 2 sets would get it done.

BAN leffen Leffen has continued to be a nuisance to this community, with misconduct including: Blackmailing Hungrybox, spreading false SA allegations about Mew2King, bullying, mocking and excluding a half deaf Swedish player for his HEARING, intentionally and maliciously spreading misinformation about the Boxx and Boxx style controllers in an effort to prevent Hax$ being able to play, and stalking and harassing Hax$ online and in person, among many other things.
