I had used it for the very first in 2009. That time, it was the best ever brightening lotion. I had exfoliate my dead skin cells very efficiently, reduced my acne to zero and made my face so bright that my aunty used to ask me about the secret. Right now, It has become one of the worst Lotions in the market. I doesn't exfoliate the dead skin cells, makes the skin more oily, creates white patches, flow like milk in sweating and causes lot of acne on the forehead and entire skin. The original Lacto Calamine lotion was made during the period of 2005 to 2011 only.

I visited 2 skin doctors when i was around 13 -16 . So when i was 13 it was the first time i was getting soo much acne (they were painful) sometimes on forehead, nose and mostly on chin also as a kid i use to scratch it and peel off the acne skin so it left scars on my chin then, i visted my first ever skin doc he gave me a soap like i use to use it on daily basis and it use to make my skin dry af. Then when i was 16, 2 years ago my mom bought me a homeopathic stuffs like pimple oil, cleanser and there was a cream which use to smell like iodex and once after using the sh!t i got more acnes on cheeks, like i never use to have acnes on my cheeks. Now im 18 and still im suffering from those scars and acne. Also i dont know, whats my skin type like i cant figure out. So motive of this long comment is please never use any soap, or any products which has no lables. Hope this helps ❤

Lakme is good for only makeup products not skincare and Ponds brand products are literally not good it could be harsh for your skin especially their facewash for dry skin..not all products are bad but most of it is not healthy for skin..I have dry skin too when I use ponds products it makes my skin more rough, dry and itchy. Mamaearth has just hype marketing I didn't get any results on my skin..My suggestion is to keep simple skincare routine also moisturize your skin in summers too and drink atleast 3L of water.

As a person with highly sensitive acne prone skin, I have to be careful with what I put on my face. I heard that calamine soothes the skin so I tried Lacto Calamine. And God it irritated my skin so bad. My Mom has been using it for years and it works great for her so I knew the product wasn't bs but just didn't suit me. Recently, after a lot of trial and error, I realized my skin can't tolerate fragrance. Not even in small amounts. So now I've got a pharmacy calamine lotion and my skin is loving it. And whenever buying any skincare products, I make sure it's either fragrance free or has allergen-free fragrance. I'm finally figuring out what works for my skin and what doesn't. And I'm seeing the results. Still a long way to go but it's an amazing start.
