I’ve actually met LC and Cristina... they are very down to earth and VERY appreciative of their fans. A girl walked up to C and said “my sister is your biggest fan”. Cristina said “call her up” and then took the phone and talked to the sister for 15-20 minutes. During that conversation C asked the sister all sorts of questions wanting to know about her and what other bands she liked etc etc .... very cool in my book also being a musician ~Bruce

No many people knows the metal bands of my country, and almost all are of the nord of the country, me too and i have a little band in my region called Piemonte, which is the region from the best Italian wines. the Lacuna Coil, instead, come from a region called Lombardia always in the northern Italy, exactly from Milano, one of the largest and most important Italian cities. Beautiful reaction as usual!

Thank you for posting this. I, too, have been requesting Lacuna Coil. The live video of this song from the 119 Show is really good, if a bit odd. That was Lacuna Coil's 20th birthday celebration concert from 2018. I personally rank Cristina Scabbia as one of my favorite female metal vocalists, and I love the contrast with Andrea Ferro on male lead. Thanks again.

(Apologies in advance for the long ass and overly emotional comment) Hey guys, discovered your channel today, and I'm loving it. I have been in a bad bad place for some time, and today one of my childhood heroes and influences in music passed away, and man it hit like a truck, making things a tad bit more depressing. It was Andre Matos, one of the founders of Angra, Shaman, a true legend of brazilian metal, or metal in general IMO. SO... Watching you guys react to a lot of music I love, the way you react and interact with each other and the community (which now I'm a part of) really warmed my heart, I don't really know how to explain... It distracted me of some bleak stuff that was in my mind, and I'm not saying it did miracles or anything like that, it just made me feel better, and I really want to thank you two for that AND make a request/tribute to Andre. I'm aware that you made reactions for Angra when he was vocalist, and one for Shaman already (sorry if I missed one) so I would like to request Fairy Tale from Shaman, an iconic one -again, in my opinion- and one that means a lot to me, me and my mom used to listen to it together all the time and it made us closer after my father passed away. Anyways, hope this reaches you, regards and love from Brazil, I'm sure there are some "BR's" here too, we are everywhere lol. Keep the awesome work guys!

I am glad that she did enjoy the sound/vocals and wants to hear more, but please no more videos. Hello JR! No need to apologize AT ALL - There is no way you could’ve known because Rich chose the video. How are we to know - any of us? This is part of our reaction channel, the truth that emerges with each song for each of us, all of you included. No need to apologize ever, I am an excessively gentle soul on the inside and I really hate it when humans pray upon other humans. I can’t watch a lot of shows that revolve around beheadings, dismemberments, the Operation Channel, world starvation, child armies, child brides, sexual abuse of children, basically anything that is evil and heinous in the world. I know those things go on, I am more than well aware of it all, I just really can’t watch it. There is no way anyone could’ve known what that video was about. We did a Soen song a few nights ago for the second time, Covenant. The first time we did a reaction to it my Apple Watch was going off to tell me it was time to go to work so there was a ringing in the background, which was not very good. With Ben here visiting with us we had a golden opportunity to do the reaction video again because Soen is one of his favourite bands. That video for the song Covenant, is about child abuse in the Catholic Church and I had a VERY difficult time watching it. I cried the whole time knowing that the video is the truth of what goes on still in this very moment and has gone on for far too long. My soul feels those things to such a colossal level and it is awful what people have to live through. There is no need for YOU to worry... thank you though for caring. My gentle soul keeps me tough as nails and like so many of us here on the channel, I don’t break easily. I need to keep watching these things because it keeps me forever appreciating both the light and the love that life has to offer us. Thank you for being here with us. 🌈💥❤️🎸💫

Oh dear. This is a song off an album about mental illness and horror. And this particular song is about one of the more brutal aspects of the subject matter. Cristina Scabbia's voice is always amazing, and please do try other of their songs. I Forgive (but I won't Forget), Trip the Darkness, or Enjoy The Silence are much less dark subjects.

The video triggered me too, Kel. I'm sorry to have lost sensitivity to violence in media, and I take your very strong "I'm not okay with this" response to reflect your sense of empathy. We'd see less actual violence if more people felt the same way. FWIW, the actresswho was brutalized is an Italian metal fan who has photos with Andrea. I've been listening to Lacuna Coil since Comalies - and the very innocent "Heaven's a Lie" video with its cheesy early naught's effects. The band goes dark but still retains hope - and I saw how you smiled when you heard Christina's counter-dark lyrics. John Fogerty lead singer and guitar player ( the heart and soul of CCR ) dropped off the music scene for ten years John Fogerty came back with Centerfield album 1985 , won Grammy for best rock and roll album in 1997 with Blue Moon Swamp. Hello :) Sadly we are choosing not to do Band-Maid songs anymore.... A reactor friend of ours from South Africa sent us an email telling us that he had posted three Band-Maid reactions six months ago and that three months after he had had them up and running one morning he ended up with three consecutive copyright strikes on his KZbin channel and so KZbin canceled his whole channel and yanked it down on him in one fell swoop. He said he thought that he was going to be fine because three months had passed and nothing happened, but when he wrote to us he told us that he was gravely mistaken and that we should try to stay away from both videos and songs done by both Band-Maid and BABYMETAL. It is widely known that they don’t understand English so even if we try to explain to them that there’s no money to be made here on our KZbin channel and it’s only good promotion for their bands, they’re on able to understand what were saying so rather than risk our channel, sadly, we are not going to play their music. It's a concept album. The whole album tells a story. The video is a part of a bigger picture (story). You can't simply watch this one video or listen to this one song from this album and understand it. You HAVE to experience the whole album for any one song to make any sense.

Wow, Lacuna Coil have really changed their sound quite a bit since I listened to them a lot (back when they were goth metal). Now they're more industrial (and a bit generic) but Cristina Scabbia is an awesome vocalist.
