I love the massive game board / mat for this game. So cool!

I think going last in this game is a slight advantage because you can claim a leftover group by getting closer, so telling Nicky she can go first because she lost was funny

In fact only the first player gets a flower at the start of the game, not the other player. That's a little compensation because indeed having the last move is a strong advantage.

Love this game. Definitely takes the first game to start to see the depth of strategy. You need to go through final scoring and those "AH-hah!!" moments to really get it. Every game after builds on that, and this game just blossoms (wink) with repeated play.

Yeah, very much a 'Go' area of control feel as the flowers are removed at the end...making this soooo much not a casual game if you want to play hard. As Lincoln pointed out, make sure you are controlling the flowers that MATTER though!

Nice one guys. I really like these GameNight Date Night video's, it gives a great insight in what is possible in 2-player games. Have you seen the game 'KELP'? It looks like a great asymmetrical 2-player game about a shark and an octopus. Perhaps something for you to show on Date Night???
