मै खारडुंग गांव में रात को होम स्टे ढुंढ रहा था। होमस्टे नहीं तो कमसेकम टेंन्ट लगा सकु यही सोच रहा था। वहां ऐक लोकल आदमी मुझे अपने घर में ले गया। पहले तो कीचन मे बुखारी के पास बीठा कर चाय पीलाया। फिर रात को खाना खा कर सो गया। सुबह ऊन्होने मेरा सामान पैक करने मे मदद की, अंत में मैने कहाँ भाई कितना पैसा देना है ? वह भाई ने कहा हम पैसे के लिए आपको नहीं लाये थे। आपकी हालत ठंड मे खराब थी। ओर यहां की ठंड आपके टेंन्ट में आप बर्दाश्त नहीं कर पाते।बहुत समजाया मगर उन्होने पैसे लिए ही नहीं। लदाख मे लोग की मानवता हम शहर के लोग से बहुत उंची है, जो हम पैसे से तोलते है।

For your beginner subscribers: Water crossings are not difficult to do even if the Water reaches your knees. If the road is flat below, then you can easily go. The problem arises when there are huge stones below even in small water crossings, as they result in dis-balancing your vehicle...

True but also depends on flow... With high flow till kness if you not control of handle and the direction of entry you might go with flow and wash away.

Very True sir Village people are much Richer than City people.... Richness is not only by money but by heart....and I have heard many time city people saying "Village people to gawar hote h" but reality is something else.... If we offer money to people for this kind of help I think we are actually insulting them isse lagta hai ki sehar vale logo ke dimag me sirf paisa hi sab h....So we should never offer money to them for these kind of help......

One hell of a adventure. ye wala water crossing jisey bypass kiya wo bahut easily kr lete hain log lekin uss din halat aur barish aisi thi ki you had to take the other way round. the best part was - "Hum seher ke log khatam ho chuke hain paise k peeche bhag bhag ke"... Great lines sir!!

rapid developments will change entire Ladakh's view in next 4/5 yrs good riding sir Be careful with Clutch as observed been holding it for longer duration during ridding for longer time might burnt out clutch plate since suzuki has lite clutch-plates compare to kawsaki durable ones 👍
