Bro.. i am riding since 2002, Used pulsar, Bullets, Cbr and recently bought V storm. i have ridden this bike 10,000 kms in 9 months. I would like to mention this bike is a very versatile machine.

Sir, you're correct....I had 150CC ( Hero Honda Hunk )....then sold due to family man.... bought Jupiter....and now again planning for a tourer bike and considering below....taking test rides to get the feeling and inner call for the respective bike. 1. VX strom 250 - In budget 2. Triump Speed 400 & scram - Can stretch 3. Harley X440 - Can stretch 4. Can wait for TVS Apache RTX 300 - Hoping for 3 lac on road approx 5. Can wait for XPluse 210 - Believe it will be less than 3 lacs OTR

If you are planning with pillion go for triumph else vstorm is more than enough. You can also look at BMW gs310 but be aware of the maintenance costs. Tip: visor plays a crucial role for touring

Rode 49,000 km+ in two years .... completed Spiti Valley, Zanskar, Rajasthan & Sikkim from Kolkata ..... this bike is nice .... very reliable bike ... perfect for short rider with low seat height ... Perfect suspension which is little bit hard but its enables you to ride fast even on bad roads. Only problem is the chain, had to change the chain every 10K km, its basically gets elongated. The suspension travel is less which is another Cons of this bike. I also own Triumph Speed 400 (ODO Reading 26K+), but I prefer to take V-Strome 250 over Speed 400 due to its hard suspension and riding ergonimics ...... The suspension of Speed 400 is too soft & plushy.

For pillion it's the best bike, done Mumbai -Zanskar-leh-umlingala-Mumbai on it with pillion and 8 days only, 6200kms, no issues to pillion.

You haven't found any front suspension alternative/replacement for the vstrom 250... The suzuki company is not showing any signs of upgrading the ride with tim... I totally agree that it is one of the most reliable engines in 250 cc category and decent power for Indian conditions!

My use case scenario - Mostly city rides (60%) Every weekend almost 300 km(Round trip) I visit my house and come back before office begins on Monday. And planning to go for ladakh and all (Very very rare) Please answer sir!

Brother you can go for scram 400x or can go for speed 400 its faster then scram

Thanks brother for the suggestion! As I already own a Cb 350 Rs I feel a scram/speed 400 would be just an extension to that feel! But recently test drove the Interceptor 650 and i feel i would go with that! It's a great over-all bike I feel. And that meaty addictive torque man 🔥❤
